LPN
- A nurse who cares for people who are sick, injured, convalescent, or disabled.
- A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) earns an average wage of$18.86 per hour.
- LPNs need a diploma or certificate from a program that has been approved by the state’s nursing board. Most often, these take one year to complete.
Two- or four-year nursing programs can qualify graduates to specialize in certain patients.
- Hospitals
- Nursing homes
- Assisted living homes
- Hospice facilities
- Correctional institutions
- Other long-term care facilities
- I think I would not like to become an LPN because I am not into these kind of things. If I had a chance to get a job it would be something else that I would truly like to work in and be happy about my job.
