Optometrist
Perform vision tests and analyze results. Diagnose sight problems, such as nearsightedness or farsightedness and eye diseases, such as glaucoma. Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications.
The average Optometrist salary is $110,397.


Becoming an optometrist requires four years of undergraduate college and four years of optometry school.


Optometrists must complete a Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree program and obtain a license to practice in a particular state.
   

I would like to become an Optometrist because It would be fun exploring someone else’s eyes. I think this would be a really great job for me.
